A little about us
We know how important your wedding is, and we know how to look after people. Before returning to the UK, our family spent eight years in Ibiza, taking care of many hundreds of VIPs, where timing, care and warm hospitality mattered every day.
We started Buen Apetito in 2008, cooking paella for festival crowds. Wedding and party catering became our focus in 2012. Today we’re Andy and Debbie, a husband-and-wife team of 20 years, supported by our brilliant family team: our eldest daughter Dina and her husband Johnny, alongside our youngest daughter Natasha and her husband Joshua, as well as our lovely waiting staff and front-of-house team.

We concentrate on serving exceptional food, hot and without a long wait. Our team takes care of the flow, so you can stay with your guests and enjoy the day.

01 · Come to the pans
Guests choose their main course at our large pans on the day, so you don’t need to collect everyone’s choices ahead of time. It’s speedy, interactive and guests can come back for more.
Our team also serves shared starters, canapés, desserts and drinks as part of the wedding breakfast service.
02 · Share around the table
Our team brings serving bowls to the middle of each table, ready for guests to help themselves. Vegetarian and vegan guests are served their own dishes directly.
A lovely in-between of buffet and table service, with plenty of room for everyone to share.
You can also choose how you’d like your plates, cutlery and napkins presented. We’ll talk through the available options as part of planning.

There’s plenty to choose from, from crowd-pleasing favourites to vegetarian and vegan options. Tell us what matters to you and we’ll help shape a menu around your day.
To welcome your guests
Prawn and chorizo pinchos, chicken skewers, falafel, onion bhaji, vegetable spring rolls, mini scones and a variety of savoury bites.
A table to share
Spanish, British or mixed sharing boards with breads, cheeses, olives and savoury favourites, with vegan alternatives served directly to guests who need them.
Fresh from the pans
Chicken, seafood, roasted vegetable and wild mushroom paellas, alongside curries, chilli, comforting one pots and a children’s menu.
A sweet finish
Choose a trio of mini desserts or larger versions, with favourites including lemon posset, Eton mess, tiramisu, brownie and chocolate torte.
When the dancing starts
Keep guests going with hot dogs, jacket potatoes, pulled pork baps, burgers, paellas, curries and one pots.
For the morning after
Breakfast baps with fresh orange juice, tea and coffee make a welcome start.

We cater wherever you choose. A kitchen isn’t essential: a covered area is helpful, while access to water and a couple of plug sockets are a bonus. If there’s no kitchen, we can bring our own cover.
Our menus are chosen to work with the basics at your venue, and every course is prepared there on the day. We’ll chat with you and your venue about the practical details.

We’ll talk through your ideas, answer questions and help the planning feel less overwhelming. Menu choices can be worked through in the lead-up to your day.
First
Meet us for a coffee, chat by phone or arrange a video call. It’s your chance to talk things through, with no obligation to book.
Then
We’ll explain the booking and tasting process. The tasting takes place at our catering premises near Exeter.
On your day
Our team arrives early, prepares at your venue and quietly takes care of service around your plans.
